Sun Wu Kong

Sun Wukong (also known as Sun Wukong, Great Sage Equaling Heaven, Sun Xingzhe, Fighting Buddha) is a character in the Chinese classical mythological novel "Journey to the West". He was born from the fairy stone produced by the creation of the world, and was born on the Flower and Fruit Mountain in Dongsheng Shenzhou. He was honored as "Sun Wukong" because he led a group of monkeys into the Water Curtain Cave. In order to learn skills, he traveled across the ocean to become a disciple of the ancestor Subhuti, and was honored as "Sun Wukong". He learned advanced magic skills such as the Great Celestial Art, Seventy-two Transformations, and Somersault Cloud.

After becoming a disciple, Sun Wukong did not get any weapons, but got the Ruyi Jingu Bang, Phoenix Wing Purple Gold Crown, Chain Mail Armor, and Lotus Silk Cloud Shoes from the Four Seas Dragon Kings. Later, he made a big fuss in Huangquan, crossed out the Book of Life and Death, alarmed the Heavenly Court, and was recruited by the Jade Emperor and named Bi Ma Wen. After learning that he was in a low position, he returned to Huaguo Mountain in anger and defeated the attack of Li Tianwang and Nezha the Third Prince, forcing the Jade Emperor to confer him the title of Great Sage Equaling Heaven, build a residence in the Heavenly Palace, and manage the Peach Garden. Because he disrupted the Queen Mother's Peach Banquet and stole the golden elixir of Taishang Laojun, he became hard-hearted and was smoked in the Eight Diagrams Furnace of Taishang Laojun. After that, he made a big fuss in the Heavenly Palace, and even 100,000 heavenly soldiers, the Four Heavenly Kings, and the Twenty-Eight Mansions could not defeat him. Later, he lost in a bet and magic show with Tathagata, and was pressed down by the Five Elements Mountain transformed by Tathagata's five fingers to repent.
